What Can I Expect?

Friendly People

What To Expect 2
Smiling faces ready to welcome you.

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Mesquite Worship Center great! We have friendly people waiting to show you around and introduce you to people.

How Long Is A Worship Service?

In total, a worship service at MWC is about 90 minutes in length. Services will include music provided by MWC’s Worship Team with song lyrics projected on a screen for you to follow and engage however you are comfortable. The service also contains other worship elements like prayer, making room for the Holy Spirit to move, blessing our children, a Bible-based sermon, communion during worship, and a brief announcement or two. We do not pass an offering plate. People give in a box at the back of the sanctuary as they feel led. The dress is casual.

Lively and heartfelt worship

What To Expect 3
Glenn and Marcella Leading Us In Praise

At Mesquite Worship Center, our worship team leads us in lively and heartfelt worship. People clap, shout, sing, and even sometimes dance in celebration of their faith in Jesus.

Blessing of the children

What To Expect 4
Pastor Sue Blessing Our Children

At MWC, children are just as much the church as the adults. They are not the “future church.” We take time to pray over them and bless them whether they stay in our service or go to children’s church after the worship portion of our service.

Moving of the Holy Spirit

What To Expect 5
Pastor Duke giving words of knowledge for healing

We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit and that the Holy Spirit has gifts to give through every member of our church. We make time for the Holy Spirit to move in our church services and minister to the needs of the people.

Bible Based Sermons

Pastor Duke and Pastor Sue get their messages directly from the Bible. We believe the Bible is the word of God, and it is what we base our life on.
