Banker Comes Under The Conviction Of God 2

Banker Comes Under The Conviction Of God

Recently I was switching my bank accounts from California to Nevada. I went into the local branch of my bank and met a nice gentleman who started to help me switch my accounts.

All of a sudden he stops and looks at me and asks, “What do you do for a living?”

I thought, “Oh brother, my cover is blown.” I knew God was moving.

I told him that I had been a pastor since 1988.

All of a sudden, tears started welling up in his eyes. He said to me, “I am a Christian but I haven’t been living like one.”

He explained to me that his marriage to his first wife ended in divorce and the lady he is with now he is not married to.

He came under the conviction of God.

I told him that God is not done with him yet, and he can try to keep ignoring the promptings of the Spirit, or he can surrender and come back to a right relationship with Jesus.

He assured me that he would, and I fully expect to see him in fellowship with a local body of believers.

God will work on people anyplace and at any time. I did not have to make this divine appointment happen. God scheduled it on His own calendar.
